Mr. Chip's Story...
Mr. Chip and his younger brother, Bean, came to us when their owner could not longer care for them. Mr. Chip is the smaller of the two, but definitely more confident! He loves to sing to you and have conversations, roo'ing throughout his day. He makes noises that sound like a growl, but don't be fooled. It's not out of anger or aggression. It's just his way of talking! Both Mr. Chip and his little brother, Bean, do their very best to always let you know when they need to be let out. They love to go on walks and do quite well on leash. We love fostering these two, but they sure are anxious to get into a routine, feel safe, and find their forever home! They keep us laughing throughout the day, especially Mr. Chip and his singing!
Both are trained on an underground electric fence and we are hoping to find a home where they can be together, as they are clearly a bonded pair. Go to to submit or download an application if you're interested in meeting these two sweet boys.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mr. Chip, a Bedford Miniature Schnauzer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Schnauzer for sale in Bedford, or seeking a Miniature Schnauzer dog from a breeder in Bedford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bedford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bedford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Schnauzer breeders who help with Miniature Schnauzer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bedford paves the way for another one to be saved.
