Pepe's Story...
This is a Take Me Home courtesy post. Pepe is not affiliated with Take Me Home. We have not evaluated him and he is not under our care. Take Me Home is not responsible for any adoptions through private parties.

All dogs are spayed/neutered prior to being courtesy posted on our sites. For more information on Pepe, please contact Leigh at

Saved from the pound with just minutes to spare, Pepe is currently being fostered, BUT HE NEEDS TO FIND A FOREVER HOME ASAP! His foster has paid for all his medical needs (neutering, shots, microchipped, etc.) and his training with K9s Only to make him the best friend around! 3 years young.

Pepe is up to date on all his shots and is neutered. He is also great with people and other dogs…he’s just kind of perfect!

If you are looking for a fun, active companion, you’ve found your man!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pepe, a Santa Monica Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Santa Monica, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Santa Monica.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Monica already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Monica breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Monica paves the way for another one to be saved.
