Temperament: Cuddly, Playful

Other: Nala is a goofy cat that kept us entertained during her stay with us. She can be high energy sometimes, but mostly can be found snoozing in a blanket. Her slightly cross-eyed blue eyes are adorable and whenever you sit or lay down in one spot for more than a few minutes, she'll be sure to curl up next to you. One thing about Nala, is that she loves attention and will definitely give your legs a playful swat if she feels you aren't playing or loving on her enough!

Adoption Fees: All of our cats are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated, tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV, given flea/tick & heartworm preventative, & fecal tested (dewormed if needed) before being adopted out. Nala's adoption fee is $160 including tax; adoptive homes are given all vet records at the adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nala, a Eagan Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Eagan, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Eagan.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Eagan already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Eagan breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Eagan paves the way for another one to be saved.
