Mommy Khatt's Story...
Mommy Khatt: 1-2 yr old female Black and White Persian mix
Fostered in Santa Cruz

June update: We have been having fun with this girl! It is hard not to stare at her her huge yellow eyes and slightly comic markings. I mean look at that face!! She is a character in more ways than just her markings. She is playful and loving and sassy and full of herself. She will entertain you and sit and watch movies at night with you. Wonderful cat.
**********************************************

She is quite the cutie. And quite the lovebug. Aside from some shelter shock she has been a lovebug from the get go. She loves attention and laps. With her unusual markings and outgoing personality she is very delightful and entertaining. She makes you smile and you certainly want to protect her and keep her safe and happy.

She is very much like Daddy Khatt with her striking black and white coloring and bright yellow eyes. And like him she has a very full tail and silky fur. Look at her paws - they are huge for a little cat!!! She is a breeder's cat and her large nipples show she has been a mommy probably more than once in her short life.

The owner said he couldn't afford to keep them anymore so he brought them to the shelter. This economy has been hard on breeders and many have stopped breeding. This little girl lived with cats and dogs and 2 children. We are lucky to have her. She makes a great pair with Daddy Khatt and would love to go home with him but I might be open to other options.

She eats wet and dry food and is litterbox perfect.

Her foster mom is Harriet in Santa Cruz.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mommy Khatt, a Vacaville Persian cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Persian for sale in Vacaville, or seeking a Persian cat from a breeder in Vacaville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vacaville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vacaville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Persian breeders who help with Persian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vacaville paves the way for another one to be saved.
