My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Top'o the morning to ya! My name is Dublin, and although I'm not really Irish, I apparently share the luck of them! On St. Patrick's Day morning, I spent a long day at the pound. All the barking from the other kennels was pretty overwhelming, but I'm a good dog so I wasn't too much in to joining in. I more of just waited and waited. It wasn't long till two New Leash girls plucked me out of my cage and took me on a walk that would really change my life!

Those New Leash volunteers were fantastic. I'm a bit of a shy guy, and I need a bit of reassurance that everything's ok. Those ladies took the time to really let me warm up. It wasn't long before I was begging them for some pats and belly rubs. I also am a perfect walker on the leash! But, I think what wont them over was my gentlemanly attitude towards other dogs I meet. While I can be shy towards humans, I really know how to put on the charm when other canines are around!

Now that I'm out of the pound and in to a foster home, I guess it's time for me to look for my new forever home! At 7 years young, I'm already accustomed to life inside - I'm housebroken, non-destructive, and move-in ready. I would love if my future adopter could be someone who understood that sometimes the shyest dogs are the best ones. If they had another dog living with them, even better! I'd love to be a part of a family!
