Rocky's Story...
Rocky is a great, big & beautiful teddy bear! He has no idea that he is so large, yet he tromps around like a magnificent horse! With a graceful gait and gorgeous coat, all eyes are definitely on him. He gets along well with little dogs, big dogs, bossy dogs and puppies. Rocky is just a happy-go-lucky, clown-like fellow with a huge heart. He already knows "Sit" and "down" and is happy to fetch as long as you're willing to throw the toy! He has an excellent recall and walks well on the leash. This handsome pup is available for adoption today. Fully vetted and healthy as can be! 706-957-8316

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocky, a Albany Great Dane/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane/Labrador Retriever for sale in Albany, or seeking a Great Dane/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Albany.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Albany already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Albany breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Great Dane/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Albany paves the way for another one to be saved.
