Carmela's Story...
Hi! My name is Carmela and I love my human people.

I am a social butterfly that enjoys walks and just hanging out next to you watching a movie.

I use to live in a home with other dogs, but my previous owners had too many dogs and decided to give me up and dumped me off at the shelter while I was pregnant and I had my puppies in prison.

I am pretty quiet; don’t bark too much unless a new person comes by. With a polite introduction, I will become your best friend.

I do well with other dogs and cats and would make a great companion.

My puppies have left the nest and now I am looking forward to my new forever loving home.

You can meet me at the Natomas Marketplace Petsmart on the weekends from Noon - 3pm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Carmela, a Sacramento Pug/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Chihuahua for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Pug/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Chihuahua breeders who help with Pug/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
