Lenny's Story...
Lenny is 12 months old (as of April 2013) and is fostered with his brother Squiggy. Please consider adopting these brothers together - reduced adoption fees apply! They are very bonded to each other and are also fostered with Yin & Yang. They were all originally part of our TNR program. Unfortunately, their caretaker is being forced to move and cannot take all of her animals with. They are very affectionate and well behaved boys.

Lenny comes with his favorite mouse toy, he seems to be lost without it! Lenny is a great cat; young, playful, and loveable.

All of our cats and kittens have been fostered in a home environment and are litter box trained, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and have been tested for FIV and FeLV prior to being made available for adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lenny, a Edmond Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Edmond, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Edmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Edmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Edmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Edmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
