Our adoptable dogs and cats will be at Tractor Supply in Concord, NC every Saturday, 1-4:00 PM until adopted. If you would like to meet any of our adoptable animals during the week, please call the contact person(s) noted at the top of the pet's description

Chip is a little sweetheart. Gets excited and is a very energetic little Chihuahua mix
but when you sit down he is the first on your lap. Chip just wants to be loved and be with you as a companion and to sleep with you. Does get along with most other dogs and cats. Knows how to use a doggy door. Walks well on a leash. Needs to gain a little weight. We believe he may have Min Pin in him because of his longer legs.

The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming, rabies (age permitting). All dogs over 4-6 months of age are already spayed or neutered, has been vaccinated for parvo, etc. and rabies, HW tested and microchipped.

We don't know what these animals have gone through and endured, (or why) in their past lives to end up here. The only thing we can do is try, hope and pray we can give them a brighter future. We want our rescued pets to have stable, loving homes where they can get lots of love, attention and live out the remainder of their lives.

Animal care can be costly. Please consider whether you can afford and want the responsibility of a pet before you adopt so they never have to be homeless and end up in a shelter again.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chip, a Charlotte Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua for sale in Charlotte, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Charlotte.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charlotte already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charlotte breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charlotte paves the way for another one to be saved.
