Chyna Shirker's Story...
This is our little Chyna Doll. She has been with our rescue for a little over a year. Chyna needs a fenced yard, as she likes to chase the birds and squirrels. Because of this little "urge" of hers, she really needs a house without cats or bunnies as she will chase them as well.

Chyna loves other dogs, kids, and anyone who comes to the house - as she believes they have come to see her! She will try to sneak food out of your fingers if she can! She loves her food but never gains a pound. Oh lucky girl....

Chyna is small and lean, probably only 30 lbs, but very muscular. She is a fast runner, and loves to do laps around the yard chasing the other dogs. She currently lives with three adult dogs all over 50 lbs, so she has to be quick on her feet when playing with those heavy brutes.

She is a lap dog in her mind, and all she would like is to be next to you on the couch or bed. She snugglers with her foster Mom every night. Just a tad bit spoiled, but she deserves it. Chyna would make a wonderful family dog for anyone looking to add a smaller non-prissy dog to their home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/Italian Greyhound for sale in Lancaster, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/Italian Greyhound dog from a breeder in Lancaster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lancaster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lancaster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/Italian Greyhound breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/Italian Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lancaster paves the way for another one to be saved.
