Rover VM's Story...
Meet Rover!! This handsome fella with a beautiful red silky coat is full grown and would make a wonderful companion. Rover is a Retriever /chow mix and weighs 35lbs. He is friendly and playful and gets along well with dogs, but really prefers people. He is crate trained and can use a doggy door. Rover has shown no negative behavior, is not a digger or a chewer and loves attention. He does have a lot of energy and would enjoy walks every day and perhaps even a jog with his human. Another furry friend would help use some of his playful energy . Small children might be overwhelmed with his energy level. Rover would love to have his forever home and is available to meet and greet.

Rover’s adoption fee of $115.00 includes neuter, microchip, vaccines, heartworm testing and starting on heartworm prevention.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rover VM, a Schertz Pomeranian/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian/Retriever (Unknown Type) for sale in Schertz, or seeking a Pomeranian/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Schertz.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Schertz already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Schertz breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian/Retriever (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Pomeranian/Retriever (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Schertz paves the way for another one to be saved.
