Wow! My life was a whirlwind, but I know I am safe now. My name is Anabella Lee. I was born around 09/01/2012. A nice lady found me on her front porch with an injured knee. She was unable to keep me and sent me to visit with the nice people at the Dallas Animal Shelter. This is when my whole life changed for the better.
My foster mom and sister took me to see the incredible doctors at MPAH. They discovered that I have a torn ACL. My foster mom and sister were really sad to hear the news. They are determined to help me heal. They have to keep me calm, quiet, and less active so that my leg can rest. The doctors said the more rest my leg can get the better it will be.
I have fallen in love with my foster family. They have provided me with toys, stuffed animals, and oh did I mention the treats. Yummy!!! I have an incredible 11 year old foster sister who treats me like a princess. She even lets me sleep in her bed at night. Boy, oh boy, am I spoiled rotten.
I am a bundle of energy and full of spunk, but I know my boundaries. My foster family has been really good at teaching me manners. I love to lie around, wrap up in a blanket, and cuddle on the couch. My favorite thing to do is snuggle in my foster mom’s lap. She makes me feel safe, warm, and fuzzy all over.
I love to interact with other animals. I get along well with all of them. I like to play with my little Chihuahua brother, but he doesn’t always think I’m so cute. I even get along with my furry cat brothers. I wish they would roll around with me.
I know my forever family is out there and waiting to meet me. I will melt your heart with my big green eyes. If you are interested in adopting me please go to http://www.animalalliesoftexas.org/adoption-application/ today and fill out an application for me, Anabella Lee, today. Thanks!

Rescue Group Info...
Animal Allies of Texas is a 501(c)(3) animal advocacy/rescue organization, dedicated to improving the quality of life in our community. Our goal is to build a no-kill shelter on enough land to house not only "adoptable" animals, but "treatable" ones as well - those who need medical care or behavior modification to become adoptable. While working toward this goal, we will also engage in community service and humane education projects to help bring about "humanity championed by thought."
We hold adoption events at one or more locations every week end. Please check the calendar on our web site www.animalalliesoftexas.org for specific locations and times.
All potential adopters must submit an application, either online via our web site www.animalalliesoftexas.org or a paper application at an adoption event. General requirements for adoption: You must live in the DFW/Ft. Worth/North Texas area - we do not adopt outside this area. Dogs must be primarily inside, and cats must be totally inside. Cats must not be declawed. All pets must be spayed/neutered if this has not been done prior to adoption. Adopter must agree to a home visit prior to adoption. Adopter MUST agree to return pet to AAT if he/she can no longer keep the pet or if AAT deems it to be in the best interest of the pet. An adoption agreement detailing these and other requirements must be signed to finalize adoption. Current fees are: dogs-$175, cats-$110. This covers all vaccinations, spay/neuter and microchipping.
Animal Allies of Texas serves all cities and towns within the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex (North Texas area). We restrict adoptions to these areas so that we can do home visits to ensure the best placement for all our animals.
