Abbie's Story...
Abbie is a positive kind of girl. She says YES to baths, car rides, leash walks, dog playmates, friendly cats, trips to potty outdoors...her YES list is endless! She's being fostered in a home with two large dogs and two other small dogs and she is totally comfortable with all of them. She sleeps in her crate at night and trots along behind her foster mom during the day. She makes friends easily and has a super personality. She is house trained, either from past experience or naturally. She's 14 pounds and estimated to be 1-3 years old. She's fostered in Harvest, AL. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Abbie, a Homewood Pug/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Beagle for sale in Homewood, or seeking a Pug/Beagle dog from a breeder in Homewood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Homewood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Homewood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Beagle breeders who help with Pug/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Homewood paves the way for another one to be saved.
