PUPPY NOD's Story...
My name is Nod. I am part of a trio of boy puppies called, Winken, Blinken and Nod. I am the most talkative one of the bunch. I don’t bark, but I talk to you about everything in life. I love people and other dogs and I am great fun when I play with the little 3 year old boy at my foster home. I am a brindle Lab mix and perhaps I have some Mountain Cur in my family background. I was born about November 20th 2012, and so that makes me just about 4 months old here at the end of March. I am getting all the necessary puppy shots right now and will be very happy and healthy to meet a new family by the middle of April. I am going to be a smart family pet that will probably grow up to be about 60 pounds when fully grown, tops. Wouldn’t you like to make me a part of your everyday life and find me happy to meet you every morning for a nice walk and puppy dog kisses? Regretfully we are no longer able to adopt to RI and MA applicants. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. CONTACT US AT 615-661-5333 or

Why Adoption is a Great Option

PUPPY NOD, a Hagerstown Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Hagerstown, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Hagerstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hagerstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hagerstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hagerstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
