BRIDGET's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

BRIDGET's Story...
Bridget is a DEAF, 3 year old spayed female red heeler (not on the breed option list here). She is a very sweet dog but she struggles with trying to keep track of everything visually. Bridget really needs to go to a family that has another dog or two because that is how she figures out what is going on around her. She is kind and smart but being deaf makes her far more sensitive to everything. We have taught her hand signals to come and stop what she is doing. If she lives in a family with a well trained dog then she will become a part of that. She really is a neat dog, and again she is extremely smart. These dogs have very high exercise requirements, she is not a dog you can just leave in a small yard and say hi to her once in a while. She needs lots of time spent with her. Bridget is good with the chickens running loose, the horses (no heeling allowed here) the numerous cats of all sizes and all the other dogs. She is not dominant and takes orders from the other dogs well.. She does sleep in the house and she sleeps all night. Her adoption fee is $120.00.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BRIDGET, a Pie Town Blue Heeler/Blue Heeler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Blue Heeler/Blue Heeler for sale in Pie Town, or seeking a Blue Heeler/Blue Heeler dog from a breeder in Pie Town.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pie Town already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pie Town breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Blue Heeler/Blue Heeler breeders who help with Blue Heeler/Blue Heeler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pie Town paves the way for another one to be saved.
