My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bridget is a DEAF, 3 year old spayed female red heeler (not on the breed option list here). She is a very sweet dog but she struggles with trying to keep track of everything visually. Bridget really needs to go to a family that has another dog or two because that is how she figures out what is going on around her. She is kind and smart but being deaf makes her far more sensitive to everything. We have taught her hand signals to come and stop what she is doing. If she lives in a family with a well trained dog then she will become a part of that. She really is a neat dog, and again she is extremely smart. These dogs have very high exercise requirements, she is not a dog you can just leave in a small yard and say hi to her once in a while. She needs lots of time spent with her. Bridget is good with the chickens running loose, the horses (no heeling allowed here) the numerous cats of all sizes and all the other dogs. She is not dominant and takes orders from the other dogs well.. She does sleep in the house and she sleeps all night. Her adoption fee is $120.00.
