Pilar's Story...
Ruff! My name is Pilar and I am a 12 year old, adorable cocker spaniel mix. I love spending time with my people, but if they're not around, I enjoy the company of dogs, cats and the occasional bunny rabbit :) I'm great with kids and I love it when they give me hugs! I like walks and will walk calmly on leash, but I would prefer to snuggle with you on the couch and watch TV. My favorite thing to do is lay my head in your lap for you to pet :) Please make sure you have a securely fenced yard as I will miss you when you leave and might try to follow you, but once I know you're going to come back I don't worry as much. I'm used to being outside when you're gone, but once you come home, all I want to do is spend time with you! I'm a loving, mellow, senior dog looking for my forever home. Will yours be the one?

PILAR'S ADOPTION FEE WILL BE WAIVED FOR THE RIGHT HOME! PLEASE CONTACT jakrivero@yahoo.com FOR AN ADOPTION APPLICATION, OR CALL 925-667-7701

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pilar, a Livermore Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Livermore, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Livermore.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Livermore already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Livermore breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Livermore paves the way for another one to be saved.
