Bowser Jr's Story...
Daisy Mae and Bowser, Sr. were just two dogs on the streets of Houston, doing the best they could to get by. As things go in the dog world, they were blessed with a litter of puppies. They did everything they could to provide for their family, but it just wasn’t enough. When things were looking bleak, they were rescued by someone who wanted to help them find permanent homes. Bowser Jr. is one of those puppies.

Bowser Jr. looks serious with his white ‘eyebrows’ and penetrating blue gaze. Bowser can be found near any action going on with the puppies, watching and figuring out what is going on before joining in the fun. Bowser is strong and sensitive, and best friends with Runt.

Bowser needs a positive, reassuring human to guide him in his new life. He might appreciate being around another dog that shows him the ropes as he begins living with you. Meet Bowser and spend some time chatting and playing with him. Bowser might be your soul-mate!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bowser Jr, a Houston Catahoula Leopard Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Catahoula Leopard Dog for sale in Houston, or seeking a Catahoula Leopard Dog dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Catahoula Leopard Dog breeders who help with Catahoula Leopard Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
