Lady's Story...
**Lady is a courtesy post and is not part of Operation Education. If you have any questions about her or are interested in making her a member of your family, please contact Kathleen at Kathleen.g.tierney@gmail.com**

Lady is around 5 years old, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm tested, spayed, and microchipped. She is a wonderful girl who is in need of a new home due to no fault of her own. She doesn't tend to do well with dogs she doesn't know but loves kitties. Lady loves going for walks and car rides and is completely housetrained. She's a great companion for traveling and has been from South Dakota to North Carolina and more with her family. She tends to prefers females and would be best in a home with older children.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lady, a Christiana Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Christiana, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Christiana.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Christiana already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Christiana breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Christiana paves the way for another one to be saved.
