Banjo's Story...
Banjo is a very smart, very feisty young kitty. He would make a wonderful playmate to an active adult cat or another kitten. He is very sweet and will entertain you for hours! Banjo loves to play and hasn’t met a toy he doesn’t love. He loves to test your boundaries but it isn’t hard to teach him what is allowed and what isn’t as he learns very quickly. Banjo isn’t the right cat for you if you want a calm, mellow fellow who will lay in your lap all day. Although he does love lap time, you need to be ready for a kitty who is constantly thinking and constantly active for him to be the right fit for your family. He always seems to be one step ahead both physically and mentally. Banjo does fine with the 2 dogs in his foster home and has been fine around older children as well. If you would like more information about Banjo, please contact his foster mom, Megann, at megann@happystrays.org. Come meet him at Santa Clarita Petco.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Banjo, a La Canada Flintridge Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in La Canada Flintridge, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in La Canada Flintridge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in La Canada Flintridge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a La Canada Flintridge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in La Canada Flintridge paves the way for another one to be saved.
