TIMOTHY's Story...
~ ADOPTION PENDING ~

You may meet and apply to adopt Timothy at our ADOPTION EVENT on SATURDAY, APRIL 6th from 12 Noon - 3:00 at PETCO in COSTA MESA. adoptpetmatch@gmail.com

Timothy is a male Havanese/Poodle mix approximately 2 years of age. He is a tiny boy, currently weighing only 7 pounds. He is underweight from being stray with no food, and his ideal weight should be right around 12 pounds. Timothy came to us extremely neglected with completely matted fur. He has been to the groomer and had to have most of his lovely fur clipped off. It will grow back in a beautiful black and white spotted pattern. Timothy's fur is non-shedding and hypoallergenic. Timothy is the ultimate snuggler and pampered pooch. He will thrive in an environment where he is spoiled, snuggled and coddled. Timothy loves to be indoors with his people and will merrily follow you from room to room, keeping good company. He is very friendly, very social and will gladly roll over on his back for a gentle belly rubbing. Timothy walks nicely on leash without pulling and is good in public. He is good with children (he is small so they need to be gentle) and he is good with other dogs. He definitely prefers the company of people and doesn't really play with other dogs too much. Timothy will be a great companion and loyal friend. He is looking for a home where he can snuggle close and feel safe and secure. He has had a scary, traumatic past, nearly starving to death before being picked up stray by animal control. Timothy deserves a lot better and will make an excellent choice for a pet. He is healthy and ready for his forever home today!

Timothy’s adoption donation is $350 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.

Timothy is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteer, Tami and is ready for his forever home.

You may meet and apply to adopt Timothy at our ADOPTION EVENT on SATURDAY, APRIL 6th from 12 Noon - 3:00 at PETCO in COSTA MESA located at 1815 Newport Blvd., Costa Mesa, CA 92627. adoptpetmatch@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

TIMOTHY, a Newport Beach Havanese/Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Havanese/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Newport Beach, or seeking a Havanese/Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Newport Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newport Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newport Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Havanese/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Havanese/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newport Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
