My name is Margaret. I am a beautiful, 33lb, Spayed, Basset Hound. I was saved from unnecessary euthanasia on March 18th. When Casey came to visit the shelter that day, I was too scared to greet her. The shelter is very loud, chaotic and overwhelming. I was shaking like a leaf. Thankfully, Casey took a close look and saw how much I just wanted to be loved and taken out of that dirty cage. Within a few short hours of arriving at my new surroundings, I completely relaxed. Now everyone can see how sweet, fun and grateful of a dog I really am. I would love a new family. I am very easy going, smart and obedient. I love playing with other dogs and going to dog parks to meet new friends. The doctors think I am about 7 years old, but I don’t feel or act like it! I am in fantastic health and my energy level is great. I am hoping to find a family willing to give me another decade of love and attention. I deserve it! Come meet with me today!
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email Casey Oliver at firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. You can find our application online at: http://www.thepetrescuecenter.org/adoptapet.html. Completed applications can be faxed to 949-768-5759 or emailed to: email@example.com
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.
