Cindy Lou Who's Story...
Cindy Lou Who

Est. DOB: January 18, 2011
Description: DSH Calico (Tabbico)
Gender: Female
Adoption Fee: $100.00

Cindy Lou Who is a sweet and pretty girl. She’s affectionate and can still be playful, but she’s a grown up and minds her manners too.

Cindy Lou Who doesn’t like other cats, and would prefer to be an only cat. She may do okay with other pets, she just has a lot of love to give and doesn’t want to share it.

Cindy Lou Who was pulled from a high kill shelter. She came in with kittens and they had all been adopted or pulled by other groups, but she was still waiting and her time was up so the shelter manager called Alley Cats and Angels.

Fully vetted: tested for FeLV/FIV (negative unless otherwise noted); treated for intestinal parasites, fleas, and ear mites; FVRCP+FeLV vaccinated (initial vaccination and booster); and rabies vaccinated; spayed/neutered; microchipped with Home Again microchips with rescue paid registration.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cindy Lou Who, a Apex Calico cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in Apex, or seeking a Calico cat from a breeder in Apex.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Apex already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Apex breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Apex paves the way for another one to be saved.
