Mr. Fluffy Pants's Story...
Mr. Fluffy Pants

Est. DOB: August 10, 2012
Description: DLH Gray Cream Tabby
Gender: Male
Adoption Fee: $100.00

While Mr. Fluffy Pants can be timid at first, with a little patience he will be your best friend ever. He adores belly rubs – and he’ll start to drool when you’re rubbing him. He has superfine soft fur, but he enjoys being brushed.

Mr. Fluffy Pants also adores other cats, he’s great with his foster parents’ dog but his true love is the laser pointer. He’ll settle for a ‘spinny ball toy’ when that isn’t available.

In his foster home he’s respectful of the dominant cat and knows his place. He’s a lover, not a fighter!

Mr. Fluffy Pants was trapped as a kitten at a colony where TNR is currently underway.

Fully vetted: tested for FeLV/FIV (negative unless otherwise noted); treated for intestinal parasites, fleas, and ear mites; FVRCP+FeLV vaccinated (initial vaccination and booster); and rabies vaccinated; spayed/neutered; microchipped with Home Again microchips with rescue paid registration.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mr. Fluffy Pants, a Apex Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Apex, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Apex.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Apex already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Apex breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Apex paves the way for another one to be saved.
