My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This gorgeous yellow Lab is Castle. He is about 3 years of age and a larger Labbie at about 85 pounds. He has not always been treated nicely and wants a special and loving forever home. His foster mom cannot decide on the best adjective to describe this boy. He is sweet, loving, calm, happy, playful, smart, gentle and a snuggler. Castle is all of these plus more! He is learning about doggie toys and likes the rope toys the best. He would make a great dog park member as he loves to play and run outside with his foster brothers and sisters. He submits to them, but is not afraid. Castle can be timid and fearful of a rope style leash or when you lead him by his collar. His foster mom has been practicing putting the leash over his head using yummy treats. Castle is house trained and crate trained and he enjoys his crate. He will go take a nap during the day inside his open crate. Castle is a great protective companion, alerting you to unusual noises that he hears outside. For this reason, Castle may not be a good neighbor in an apartment complex or condo unit which would have just too much activity and noises. He is just a bit too interested in the kitties and likes to chase the cats in his foster home. Whoever adopts Castle will think that they won the doggie lottery! Castle is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and microchipped. He is being kept on flea/tick preventative and heartworm preventative. If you want to be the lucky one to make Castle part of your family please fill out an online application and indicate him in the notes section. You will not be disappointed
