Zoey Ann's Story...
Zoey Anne, a cute, fun loving pup with a little shyness around new people. When you take her for a car ride she prefers to look out the window and watch the world… just be sure your petting her so she knows all is okay. In just a few weeks she rarely uses the puppy pads and tries to tell you when she needs outside. Zoey loves to cuddle and will nuzzle right under your chin if you let her.

It is so hard to believe this fluffy Doxie mix wandered to someone’s home looking for food at only 6 weeks of age. Her rescuers took her in and made sure she had her first vaccinations. She has since put on some weight and been spayed. Zoey romps with her foster families small adult dogs. When meeting new dogs she is submissive but handles introductions well.

Zoey will be a small dog when she is grown. She is almost house trained and does great on the leash. Zoey is ready for someone to cuddle with her and show her that everything will be okay.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zoey Ann, a Neosho Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Neosho, or seeking a Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Neosho.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Neosho already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Neosho breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Neosho paves the way for another one to be saved.
