Sampson's Story...
Sampson is a sweet young Great Dane, previous owners kept a muzzle on him for long periods of time which resulted in his muzzle being rubbed raw. He is still young and a pup, but a good loving boy! He will need someone who is able to handle a more dominant boy, sweet but not trusting of men that much. Tall and will need to be trained to do common commands and will most likely eat about 6 cups a day.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sampson, a Grand Rapids Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane for sale in Grand Rapids, or seeking a Great Dane dog from a breeder in Grand Rapids.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Rapids already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Rapids breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane breeders who help with Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Rapids paves the way for another one to be saved.
