Cindy Lou's Story...
Cindy lou has been cleared for adoption!!! Cindy was rescued from miami dade shelter with 3 broken bones in her face. her jaw was completely detatched and her eye was floating in her face with no support of and eye socket. although she has had her surgery and has made a full recovery one side of her face is still a little droopy. She eats with ease and never had a problem even before the surgery. she has a wonderful personality. She is the definition of a cuddle bug, jumping up in your nap and snuggling behind your back and popping her head up under your arm. she loves to play with tennis balls and will make a great family dog. we are accepting applications for this sweet baby now. please fill out an application at http://nopawleftbehind.wufoo.com/forms/no-paw-left-behind-canine-adoption-application/

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cindy Lou, a Lighthouse Point Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Lighthouse Point, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Lighthouse Point.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lighthouse Point already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lighthouse Point breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lighthouse Point paves the way for another one to be saved.
