Murphy's Story...
Murphy is here with us at the shelter and he definitely knows right from wrong so we are dropkicking his law out the door and rewriting it… from now everything can, and will go right for him and all of the other kitties at the shelter!!! Some of our residents might be shipping up to Boston and some might be moving on down to Rhode Island but wherever they go, we know they will be in wonderful forever homes… If you like celebrating St. Patrick’s Day all year round then come take this Celtic cat home with you!!! Murphy has been neutered, combo tested negative and is up to date with his regular shots. If you are interested in meeting Murphy or other cats/kittens in our care waiting for a home, please call 508-695-4707 (leave a message if need be!). Paws of Plainville, Inc. is dedicated to helping the homeless cats in the local area. We are an all volunteer, nonprofit organization. All donations are tax deductible and can be sent to P.O. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Murphy, a Plainville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Plainville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Plainville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plainville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plainville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plainville paves the way for another one to be saved.
