Mandy's Story...
Mandy is a sweet corgi mix looking for a home to call her own. Mandy and her sister, Ariel (also available for adoption but they do not have to stay together), lived the first 6 months of their lives outside without very much attention at all. We have had to work with them to boost their confidence and they have come a long way. Mandy is still shy in new situations. You will be rewarded with a loyal and devoted companion if you will give her the chance to show you how sweet and affectionate she is. Mandy walks well on leash and loves our cats. She gets along great with other dogs and should do very well with children. She is a spunky little thing and has a heart of gold. Mandy weighs 17 lbs and is 10 months old. She is spayed, up to date on her shots, microchipped, heartworm negative and on monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas and ticks. She is crate-trained and housebroken. To meet Mandy, please first complete the adoption application at www.cedarfarmrescue.com . After submitting the application call (336) 251-8877 to make an appointment to come to our adoption center to meet her.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mandy, a Mocksville Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi for sale in Mocksville, or seeking a Corgi dog from a breeder in Mocksville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mocksville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mocksville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi breeders who help with Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mocksville paves the way for another one to be saved.
