Rodney's Story...
Poor Rodney - he says "I get no respect around here." He wants to go to a home that will give him some respect, love, and lots of attention!!! He is a great 1 year old Lab to Leash beagle who is learning all about life in a home. Rodney LOVES to snuggle and just melts in your arms when you hold him. He doesn't really love other dogs, though, so would be best as an only dog at this time. He is keeping his crate clean, but really hates it, so would love to go to a home where crate time would be limited. He is still working on his housetraining, and is not yet voiding on leash, so would need a little bit more work with that. Leash walking is a new experience for Rodney, so sometimes it's not fun when he wants to go somewhere and the leash doesn't let him! He has tons of love to give to the right family that can be patient and continue to teach him about living life in a home. He loves to run and play, but he loves to snuggle and cuddle just as much. If you can be his bed-buddy at nighttime, he'll think he hit the jackpot of respect!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rodney, a Yardley Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Yardley, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Yardley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Yardley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Yardley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Yardley paves the way for another one to be saved.
