Monty's Story...
Monty is an awesome dog, rescued from death row from the Chowchilla shelter. He is about 1 and a half years old. He has made amazing progress from when we first got him. He is very sweet and gets along with other dogs. He is shy at first to strangers, but quickly warms up. He would be fine as an only dog and doesnt mind being left alone for a while. He is also very ranch savvy! Monty is just an awesome boy- very laid back, and would make a great empty nesters dog. He is currently being fostered in Lodi, Ca

His adoption fee is $200.00 and includes neuter and vaccines. For more information on Monty please call 925-337-6377

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Monty, a Livermore Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Livermore, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Livermore.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Livermore already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Livermore breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Livermore paves the way for another one to be saved.
