My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Misty McCloud : 4-5 yr old blue cream Exotic Shorthair Persian /
Scottish Fold mix

We think this little girl may have some Scottish Fold genes in her.
She came to us from a Southern California home. A brother lost his job so he lost his house. He was housing his sister who was caring for her deceased mother's numerous cats. These cats were mainly, but not all, Scottish Folds. We had to move quickly to help. Some cats we Courtesy Posted on our website and others a foster drove down to bring back into rescue. What a cutie came to me.

Ms McCloud certainly has an exotic shorthair persian's flat face and little button nose. For general health and arthritis reasons Scottish Folds must always be bred to a non Scottish Fold so this may be a Exotic Persian / Fold mix. Whatever her parentage she is one very cute little kitty. You can see the little creamy blaze on her chest and she has what is called a "paintbrush" tail with a totally creamy tip at the very end. Grey hair is called "blue" so she is a "blue cream".

She is a nice, good natured girl who came in to us a bit upset and stressed. It was a long drive from down south and there had been lots of disruption in her life. Misty has shown us that she loves attention and cuddles from humans. We bathed her and she was cooperative and entertaining. Her favorite occupation seems to be lying in the sun and looking at the world out the window.

I have only just gotten her and will write more when I know her better. I think she would like a quiet and peaceful home ( with sunny
windows) . She seems cat friendly as long as the cats are not rambunctious kittens. or pushy demanding types. I don't know how she would do with dogs. She would probably prefer to live with adults only, not young children. She likes an orderly life.

She eats wet and dry and is litterbox perfect.

Her foster mom is Harriet in Santa Cruz.
