Lexie's Story...
Hi, My name is LEXIE, but my foster mom calls me "Little Bit" because I am 8 pounds of pure, terrier-mix delight. I love to be carried around like a Little Baby. I will walk on my hind legs and dance to encourage you to pick me up so I can nestle into your arms. I am a young girl, but wise beyond my years. I never have an accident in the house; and I will sit and wait for you to tell me that I have permission to eat my dinner. I love to play with other dogs; preferably my size. However, I can let those big dogs know that they need to be mindful of my petite frame with a bark, if they begin to play rough. I only want a Little Bit - a human family to love me; keep me safe, warm, and fed; and let me dance my way into their arms and FUREVER hearts. That's not too much to ask, is it? If you give me a Little Bit, I will give you a lot.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lexie, a Alpharetta Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Alpharetta, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Alpharetta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alpharetta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alpharetta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alpharetta paves the way for another one to be saved.
