My story

Meet Tucker....

Tucker was pulled from the shelter as a stray. This is definitely one instance we are glad the owners never came to claim him. Poor Tucker weighed in at only 50 lbs 9 oz the other day at the vet. You can see his spine, hip bones and his ribs. He has sores on all the pressure points (probably from being on concrete). His skin is awful.... and he has a stage 3 heart murmor. (3 out of 5). He is updated on all shots, rabies, hw test but in order to be neutered the doctor wants him to gain a little weight, be on a round of antibiotics to help with the skin issue and start his heart meds so that his heart is hopefully running more normal.

But we will have to say he is the sweetest boy!! He loves kids!! He does good with all the dogs...all sizes. We would say you will definitely have to watch him with cats though. He has not hurt the foster kitty but he has pinned him. He gets that chase look in his eyes.

He is crate trained. Almost completely potty trained...he currently is un-neuterd so he was trying to mark at first. The foster home said he was doing a lot better and he is easily corrected! It was mainly the first couple of days. Obviously he was not an inside dog. :(

Tucker will have to be on heart meds for the rest of his life. Avg cost $25 month.
