Bro's Story...
This happy-go-lucky dog is patiently waiting for his forever home! We believe that Bro is a Chesapeake Bay Retriever mix with a beautiful golden coat. Bro does pull a little bit on the leash, but we have started him on the Gentle Leader and he is slowly becoming adjusted to it. He loves to greet everyone he meets with a smile and a wagging tail! Bro knows sit, lay down, and even roll over. We also believe that he is housetrained. He gets along great with other dogs and is wonderful around children. Overall, Bro is a wonderful dog who can't wait to find his forever family. Could it be yours?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bro, a Cheyenne Chesapeake Bay Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chesapeake Bay Retriever for sale in Cheyenne, or seeking a Chesapeake Bay Retriever dog from a breeder in Cheyenne.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cheyenne already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cheyenne breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chesapeake Bay Retriever breeders who help with Chesapeake Bay Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cheyenne paves the way for another one to be saved.
