Paul's Story...
Paul is a husky/border collie mix about 5 months old. As you can see, he is great with other dogs and would benefit from another dog in his new home. He is living in a foster home where he has been learning house manners. He is very calm in the house and does not chew on anything AND he is house-trained! Paul is shy at first but sweet when he warms up. He loves to go on walks and to go to the park. Paul is crate-trained and good with cats. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Paul, a Richmond Border Collie/Husky puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Husky for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Border Collie/Husky puppy from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Husky breeders who help with Border Collie/Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
