Plenty of my friends are looking

DANDY's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

DANDY's Story...
Dandy is active and very eager to please. He is so much younger than his actual eight years, and he enjoys exploring the outdoors and would love to accompany you on walks and as you do your backyard and household chores. Dandy is a handsome, get-along guy who seeks love and approval.

He is working on his nice leash manners, and will thrive with the attention that he lacked at his prior home. He is responsive to verbal corrections and will flourish with a knowledgable handler. He has no aversion to physical handling or correction, and tries to please despite his lack of prior experience.

Dandy's good qualities remain, despite being left alone outdoors with his female sibling. He's a nice boy who likes to move, but is shy and accommodating with humans who are new to him. He is open to meeting polite small and medium-sized dogs - and really any dog that is smaller than him - as he enjoyed the companionship of a female sibling for many years.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

DANDY, a Phoenix Border Collie/Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Border Collie/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
