Weasel's Story...
Adopted with Pepe ~ August 2013

WEASEL...GIANT, wonderful fluffball of love!!! You have gotta to meet Weasel and Pepe to really appreciate just how awesome these boys are...large, fun, energetic, loving...if you want a CAT that will make an impact in your home...try these brothers on for size!!! I purposely did not crop out my foot on Picture 3 so that you could get an idea of just how big Weasel is...my foot is a women's size 8.

The siblings mother was trapped a week before she gave birth to her 6 beautiful kids. Our volunteers were trying to trap a completely different cat, when Mom ended up in our trap. At least she was able to have her babies in a safe environment! Now this wonderful family is looking for forever homes of their own. Four siblings, Motely, Crew, Chumley and Thomasina, have been adopted...now it is time for everyone else...and trust me, these boys are just fabulous, you will not be sorry if you adopt one or more of them!!

Pepe LePew is all black...domestic medium haired.
Weasel is black and white, domestic short haired...he has 3/4 black nose with 1/4 pink...left cheek is black and right cheek is white.
All the boys have fluffy tails : )

The boys were born on April 11, 2011. They are playful, energetic and full of life. They love their feather toys, ribbons, play mice...they use their scratching posts very well. They have no issues being picked up and tossed on their backs...no squirming, just sweet little tummies to kiss : ) They are laid back and easy going and should have relatively easy transitions into their new homes. We would love for them to be adopted together as they are the last of their litter and very much bonded to each other.

As with all Forgotten Felines cats for adoption, the boys are neutered and they are current on their shots and tests. For information on how you can meet these fine gentlemen, please contact Laura at 256-420-8827 or email us at info@ffhsv.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Weasel, a Capshaw Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Capshaw, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Capshaw.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Capshaw already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Capshaw breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Capshaw paves the way for another one to be saved.
