Tristan Boudreaux's Story...
Tristan Boudreaux
~ 3 years old (~ DOB: 9/17/09)

Tristan (and his mother, Genevieve (adopted)) used to belong to a lady that got too sick to take care of them and put them outside. Unfortunately, a neighbor turned them into animal control. Thankfully however, someone cared enough to find a friend at Forgotten Felines to take them…. And they are now looking for their forever home.

Tristan is sweet, loving, and very gentle…a true gentleman. He’s not demanding but absolutely LOVES attention. Please pet him a lot! He gets along well with other cats and every human he’s met, so far. He doesn’t even seem to mind so far! He’s a lover and his favorite sport is sleeping in bed with you…. I can just tell.

Hi…. My name is Tristan Boudreaux. My foster mom would tell you that I am a sweet, loving, very gentle and thrive on attention. I’m not demanding but any time you want to pet me, I LOVE IT! My foster mom says you can’t get any sweeter than me… and she’s not even prejudiced! LoLs.

My mom and I used to belong to a lady who got too sick to take care of us. Not knowing what else to do, she put us outside where some neighbor people turned us into animal control. She was too sick to get us out of there but someone cared enough to find a friend at Forgotten Felines to take us. So here I am, hoping to be adopted into a forever home. (Btw, my mom Genevieve is looking for her forever home too. She’s not here right now but you can probably find her in the adoptable book.)

Do you need a companion? A bed buddy to snuggle with? Do you have room in your home for me? If so, I’ll do my best to make you happy and my foster mom says you’ll be very glad you found me! If you have any questions about me and Forgotten Felines isn’t here, please call my [foster] mom, Michelle, at 256-837-4627 or 256-520-2517.

Tristan is neutered and he is current on his shots and tests!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tristan Boudreaux, a Capshaw Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Capshaw, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Capshaw.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Capshaw already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Capshaw breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Capshaw paves the way for another one to be saved.
