Snookie's Story...
SNOOKIE...petite, sweet and fun!!!

The siblings Snookie, Wolfgang, Little Man and JD...born around May 1, 2012; Snookie is the only girl in her litter and she is a domestic short hair black with white teardrop stripe on her nose. Her foster mother likes to call her the Prima Donna Diva in the family...and boy, she really is pretty special.

The siblings are typical "kittens" at this stage...playful, energetic and full of life. They love their feather toys, ribbons, play mice...they use their scratching posts very well. They have no issues being picked up and tossed on their squirming, no nails, just sweet little tummies to kiss : ) They are laid back and easy going and should have relatively easy transitions into their new homes. We would love for them to be adopted together as they are the last of their litter and have bonded well together.

As with all Forgotten Felines cats for adoption, Snookie is spayed, the boys are neutered and they are current on their shots and tests. For information on how you can meet these fun-loving kids, please contact Laura at 256-420-8827.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Snookie, a Capshaw Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Capshaw, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Capshaw.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Capshaw already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Capshaw breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Capshaw paves the way for another one to be saved.
