SARABELLE ~ gentle and sweet soul

SaraBelle was trapped at a trailer park...she and several of her sisters all had babies about the same time. The tomcats and their babies were all together and they shared the duties of nursing and raising their families. SaraBelle went into a foster home with nine kittens and she loved them all. She has done her duty as a momma and is ready to start her life after children.

SaraBelle is a Blue Mackeral Tabby born around 9/1/11; she is as gentle and kind as can be. Very affectionate and loving; adores being petted and rubbed. She knows this is a second chance at life; she is so happy to be with people who love her and care for her ~ she is going to be a devoted and treasured part of the family for sure!!

She is not fond of being picked up right now...that may change as her environment becomes stable and consistent. She does love to be with her people...sitting beside them or in their lap. She gets along very well with other cats and isn't afraid of cat-friendly dogs.

As with all Forgotten Felines cats for adoption, SaraBelle is spayed and she is current on her tests and shots. For more detailed information about their purrsonalities, please contact their foster parents, Sarah and Dan at 256-658-3885.

About Forgotten Felines

About Our Rescue Group...

Forgotten Felines, Inc. is a 501-(3)(c) non-profit charitable organization. Our primary purpose is to manage the feral cat population in our area by trapping, neutering/spaying and re-releasing (TNR) cats back into their original territories. We also work to provide safe temporary homes for cats that are homeless, unwanted, abandoned or lost. Some of our animals have been rescued from dangerous conditions and cannot be released back to their original territory...these animals are housed in foster homes until permanent loving homes can be found. The majority of these animals are friendly abandoned pets, that are not feral, and we offer these loving and grateful animals for adoption here on Petfinder and also at Petsmart in Jones Valley, Huntsville, AL. We also provide help to people who are elderly, disable, financially challenged and those who love their animals but cannot provide them with the necessary care.

Our Mission...

(1) Control feral cat populations through neutering/spaying
(2) Educate the public about about proper pet care and responsibility, especially neutering/spaying and advising about pet behavior and medical issues that often result in families giving up their pets
(3) Humanely remove and relocate ferals when possible
(4) Adopt out loving, grateful animals into permanent forever homes
(5) Raise necessary funds to build a shelter for rescued cats
