found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Freckle's rescue story is all too familiar. He was born to a stray mom (although he does look a whole lot like his poppa ~ who is an orange and white manx with a partial tail). He has two other siblings - sister Clementine (who has been adopted) and brother Alfie. Clementine was trapped two whole months before her brothers...they kept eluding the traps. Foster mom, Arlene, believes that some kind soul fed the boys because they were too young to survive and hunt on their own. They spent most of their time living in a storm drain.
Alfie is an orange tabby; brother Freckles is a stumpy manx (partial tail) and he is mostly white with orange patches; we guesstimate their birthday around April/May 2012. Manx have longer back legs than front ones...this allows them to jump higher.
The boys are very sweet, loving, very playful and intelligent kittens. They may be a bit shy at first, but once they adjust to their new surroundings, they settle in quite nicely. They have adjusted well to all the changes life has thrown their way. The boys need to be adopted together...they are dependent upon each other for comfort, play, and well-being ~ they are highly active and need an outlet to release all the energy they have. Manx cats love to chase...cats, dogs, bugs, toys...it's part of their nature.
The boys have been introduced to two dogs (a 60lb. and 25 lb.)...they are curious and do not seem to be afraid of them...over time, they should do very well with cat friendly dogs.
They love to be petted...are very patient while having their nails trimmed...and use their scratching posts. They are fun-loving and gentle cats who want to bring laughter and love to everyone they meet.
Alfie and Freckles are neutered, they are current on their shots and tests. For information on how you can meet these fabulous boys, please contact Arlene at 256-232-9769.
