Meow! My name is Honda
|Breed:||Domestic Shorthair||Color:||Orange Or Red Tabby||Age:||Young|
I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
HONDA...found a hidely hole in the engine compartment of a HONDA and lived to tell!!
Honda is one tough little guy!! He was pulled from the engine compartment of a car in an apartment complex...he was so scared, he didn't know what on earth was happening to him.
Thankfully, he is now safe and looking for a chance at finding a wonderful family to love and adore him...to keep him safe inside from harm. Honda is a beautiful orange tabby with white markings and deep insightful gold eyes. We guesstimate him to be have been born around April 19, 2012.
Honda gets along very well with other cats and kittens and should do fine with a cat-loving dog too...if you needs tips on how to introduce the new kids, just let us know.
Like most kittens his age, he does enjoy his playtime...chasing down and stalking his siblings and wrestling them down to the ground is AWESOME!!! He is a very social cat and loves being around other cats and kittens his age as well as people who want to engage him in play time. Feather wands, laser lights, rattle balls and mice are among his favorite toys : )
When he gets startled or cornered his first reaction is to "hiss"...he means nothing by this...it's probably a behavior he acquired to defend himself when he was out there trying to survive. He will drop that defense mechanism, the more comfortable and relaxed he gets with his people. He just needs to know he is safe from harm and taken care of...love solves a multitude of issues.
We would love for Honda to be adopted with another "sibling" but will consider homes with age appropriate companions. Adopting multiples is really wonderful...the kids always have a playmate and companion to comfort them; it takes the 2am wake up call away from you because they have each other to play with!! Besides we discount the adoption fee when adopting in multiples.
As with all Forgotten Felines cats for adoption, Honda is neutered; he is current on his tests (negative) and his shots are up to date...he is ready, willing and able to adopt and take home today!

Rescue Group Info...
Forgotten Felines, Inc. is a 501-(3)(c) non-profit charitable organization. Our primary purpose is to manage the feral cat population in our area by trapping, neutering/spaying and re-releasing (TNR) cats back into their original territories. We also work to provide safe temporary homes for cats that are homeless, unwanted, abandoned or lost. Some of our animals have been rescued from dangerous conditions and cannot be released back to their original territory...these animals are housed in foster homes until permanent loving homes can be found. The majority of these animals are friendly abandoned pets, that are not feral, and we offer these loving and grateful animals for adoption here on Petfinder and also at Petsmart in Jones Valley, Huntsville, AL. We also provide help to people who are elderly, disable, financially challenged and those who love their animals but cannot provide them with the necessary care.
(1) Control feral cat populations through neutering/spaying
(2) Educate the public about about proper pet care and responsibility, especially neutering/spaying and advising about pet behavior and medical issues that often result in families giving up their pets
(3) Humanely remove and relocate ferals when possible
(4) Adopt out loving, grateful animals into permanent forever homes
(5) Raise necessary funds to build a shelter for rescued cats
