Ladybug's Story...
LADY BUG...sweet and cute, like a bug in a rug : )

Lady Bug comes to Forgotten Felines as a rescue from a fast food restaurant's parking lot. She is a very sweet domestic short hair black and white darling who we estimate to have a birth date in the area of July/August 2009.

Lady Bug is a bit shy and reserved right now...she has only been in foster care a few weeks and she is just learning to relax and believe that she is safe and sound from the hustle and bustle of a parking lot.

The pictures taken of her are from our PetSmart Adoption Center in Jones Valley. She is timid during the first several pictures but as you can kind of see, she becomes engrossed with the camera wrist strap...and starts to chase it and grab for it. She then starts to let me rub her and pet her and she quietly accepts the petting and seems to enjoy it.

With every person she meets she becomes less and less aware of her shyness. With some time and patience she will come out of her shell and blossom into her true personality...playful, sweet and loving...nothing less!!

As with all Forgotten Felines cats for adoption, Lady Bug is spayed and she is current on her shots and tests. For more information on this precious little lady, please contact her Foster Mother, Gayle at 256-461-8764 (leave a message).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ladybug, a Capshaw Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Capshaw, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Capshaw.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Capshaw already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Capshaw breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Capshaw paves the way for another one to be saved.
