My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Freckles has been at the Jersey Animal Coalition for over 3 years. She's one of the absolute favorites among the staff and volunteers, but she desperately needs a home and person to call her own.
When she arrived at the shelter she was happy and carefree and loved to play with other dogs. She has since become very nervous, anxious and startles easily. She also seems very afraid of active lively dogs, although she will behave well with calmer ones. She has been seen by a professional trainer and they evaluated her as a special needs dog who needs to get out of the shelter and into a loving caring home ASAP so she can recover from the stress of shelter life.
