Babe-Weatherhead Foster's Story...
This is Babe, aka Chunka. Babe was adopted but returned to our rescue. Her only crime was liking silk flowers too much. Unfortunately, some adopters don't think about things like that before they adopt kittens. If you have a love for displaying a lot of trinkets and flowers, we suggest that you adopt an older cat and not a kitten! Although Babe is almost a year old, she is still very much a kitten. This is what her new foster has to say about her. "She is such a doll! Loves attention and purrs constantly. Also loves to play, especially with the feather toys. She is very curious, investigates every room she's in and follows around my dogs and other cats."

Babe's adoption fee is $75. If you'd like to inquire about her or any of our other wonderful cats or kittens, please email cat_rescue@earthlink.net or call 937-271-1411. All cats have their yearly shots, are spayed or neutered, and are microchipped. There is a 3 week health guarantee and a 2 week refund policy; although once you've adopted one (or more) of our rescues, we couldn't imagine you giving them up! (Especially when they are as lovely as Babe!)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Babe-Weatherhead Foster, a Fairborn Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Fairborn, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Fairborn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fairborn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fairborn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fairborn paves the way for another one to be saved.
