Leo (courtesy post)'s Story...
Leo is approximately 5 years old and was surrendered when his family decided to divorce and couldn't keep him. He large and in charge! Leo is a sweet boy that likes to sleep in bed with his people and get attention whenever he can- he especially likes laps. He would benefit from a diet to lose just a few pounds. Leo has some kitty dandruff that may resolve in a quiet home with a high quality food. He needs a slow intro to any other animals in his new home. Leo enjoys his head being petted and scratched but may softly bite if he is unhappy with you, therefore, older children are recommended in his furever home. Will you give him a chance at a wonderful life?

Please email Melissa at if interested in adopting.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leo (courtesy post), a Scottsdale Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
