Rio's Story...
Soft as cashmere and beautiful as only a calico can be, Rio is a 3 month old sweetheart (as of March 23, 2013). A beauty like this is allowed a little “cattitude” – but then she just rolls over and wants her belly rubbed! What could be cuter!! Rio has been spayed, combo tested, and is up to date on appropriate shots. She is ready for a forever home of her very own! If you would be interested in adopting Rio please contact Diane at c4pcats@aol.com or 908-377-4579.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rio, a Madison Calico kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in Madison, or seeking a Calico kitten from a breeder in Madison.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Madison already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Madison breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Madison paves the way for another one to be saved.
