PLEASE CALL (585)278-7069 IF YOU'RE INTERESTED IN THIS GORGEOUS BOY

Hershey is ready for his forever home! Hershey is a 5 year old Cholocate Lab mix that was rescued from life as a ‘yard dog’. He is extremely gentle and gets along great with other dogs. He is still learning how to play with toys but walks like a dream on leash. Due to his life outside, Hershey needs to have a fenced in yard where he can run and play with his new family. Hershey loves children of all ages and has nothing but love to share with everybody that crosses his path. If you think you have room in your heart for this lovable ‘bear’ please contact his foster home at (585)278-7069. Hershey is altered and up to date on vaccinations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hershey, a Dunkirk Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Dunkirk, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Dunkirk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dunkirk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dunkirk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dunkirk paves the way for another one to be saved.
