Tator Tot's Story...
Much like tator tots one "bite" of this guy isn't enough! He is such a sweet little tator! He is also solid and is going to be a big boy! At almost 20 pounds he is only about 10 weeks old! He will be the perfect side dish for any family, he loves everyone he meets and wants nothing more than to play and play and play. A little shy at first, he is a baby after all he warms up quickly. He is located in the t-kennels at the shelter.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tator Tot, a Baton Rouge German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever for sale in Baton Rouge, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Baton Rouge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baton Rouge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baton Rouge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baton Rouge paves the way for another one to be saved.
